When you want to 'load' that file, rename it back to what it was originally called e.g. Feel free to rename it, stick it in a folder somewhere, use whatever sorting system you like. This file is the page you're up to when the game is running. Bunch of files in folder, copy the "storePSswordofrhiveniaPSstate" file (or other game) and paste it somewhere. Or just look through them and write down what game it is on a notepad or something. Go into that folder, find the folder of the game you want to save/load.įor others, whatever game is open currently or the last played, sort by date and it should be the most recent. If you can organise the folders by date, that should help you out greatly, as it will be the most recently modified one. Figure out which of the folders in there is your numeric steam id. And it's not actually 'saving' as manually making a copy of where you're up to and overwriting when you want to 'load'. It's just not intuitive or user friendly. You can however sort of save with these games. Unfortunately COG (and by extension Hosted and Hearts) have been very clear on their stance with no interest of changing it.
